59 years ago today ... As I stepped down from the train, and there to meet me was ... Sgt Walters (RIP) all decked out in his best BD's and sparkling boots. The Balaclava invasion (intake) had arrived.
The rest is all history - a fond farewell.

DENBURY DAYS FOR ANOTHER 2 YEARS
From today (17 August 2018) the Denbury Days website will be available for another 2 years.
I have just paid £296.32 for the hosting of the Denbury Days website. This sum is only to have the site on the internet it does not include all the creation work, software etc which I do myself.

If anyone feels they are able to make a donation (small or large) click on the 'Donate' menu above. It will be very welcome. (If you would prefer to donate by cheque etc then contact me via the private 'Contact' menu above (or email me and I will reply with my home address.)

I would like to say a big 'Thank-you' to those who have already donated/contributed towards the upkeep.
